Getting to Know Julian: A Journey Through Life, Experience, and Perpetual Learning
Hello, my name is Julian and I am excited to share a bit of information about myself and who I am as a person. I am a well-traveled individual, having been born in Detroit, Michigan and having lived and spent time in just about every state between Florida and Michigan throughout my years.
I spent my high school and collegiate years in Chattanooga, Tennessee and ultimately moved to the state of New Jersey in 2016. However, I am happy to say that I have returned to Chattanooga in 2021 and couldn’t be more pleased with the progress and opportunity that this city has established for itself.
Growing up, I was always around tradesmen, athletes, and mechanics. Drag racing, sports, and the outdoors were always the center-focus in our household. Through this exposure as a child and as a result of my experiences as an adult, I have yet to come across a problem that I can’t solve or a challenge that I can’t overcome.
I am a firm believer in a person’s ability to stand true to themselves. This is critical to me as I have discovered over the years that the core values of a person directly dictate and impact their every decision and ultimately their lives. Dignity, humility, excellence, and honesty are integral to who I am as a man.
I make an intentional, consistent, and hard effort to seek criticism and learn from my mistakes, to be the one who asks the questions in order to obtain the answers, to always strive to do things once and do them right, and to speak with clarity, transparency, and hard facts. I am an analytical, logical, spatially-aware thinker, and problem-solving is my area of expertise.
I am most known for my ability to apply a high level of common sense and thorough thinking to any situation, as well as my ability to remain a perpetual learner. I keep my eyes and my mind open, understanding that as there are a few things that I do know for certain, there is an entire world out there that I’ve yet to see.
I am confident that I can be taught, shown, instructed, and/or advised on any subject matter, absorb it the first time, and completely fulfill any obligation placed upon me thereafter. I crave new obstacles and challenges that are begging to be tackled. I am a strong leader, an effective communicator, and above all else, a team player.
In business, someone has to draw the line and protect the interests of the house, and I find no difficulty in assuming complete responsibility. When your trust is placed in me, my word is in turn placed with you, and success is a shared objective, no matter how it is achieved.
