The first step toward remodeling your kitchen is deciding why you want to remodel it. Some people renovate their kitchen because parts are damaged, while some remodel to replace outdated appliances. Others renovate their kitchen to update the design, décor, appliances—the whole nine yards. When thinking about renovating your kitchen, make sure you write down your “why” to ensure all of your kitchen goals are being met.
How do you want to use your kitchen?

- Next is a 15-minute phone consultation. We’ll talk more in-depth about your project, discuss ballpark pricing, process, and ideas for your renovation.
- Next, we meet in person! We’ll come by your home, take necessary measurements, and discuss design style, function, and give you a more concrete kitchen renovation timeline.
- Finally, you’ll get an initial concept presentation. We’ll show you the overall design we’ve come up with for your kitchen based on the information gathered from your in-home consultation. This is where you’ll be able to see a visual of what your kitchen will look like once we’ve worked our magic.
Making it Official: 2–4 Weeks
This is when we start to make things official—we sign a contract! The timeline for this stage can vary depending on several factors, including how long it takes to fully detail and finalize all variables of the project. You’ll be visiting a lot of places and making a lot of decisions! Once we get there, we can sign the contract and get started on creating the kitchen of your dreams.
The Remodel Timeline: 2–4 Weeks
Once we’ve got a contract in place, we can officially break ground on your kitchen remodel. The timeline for this part can take anywhere between 2–4 weeks, depending on the scale of your project. If you’re simply replacing your cabinets, we could finish in a matter of days. For a full-scale kitchen remodel, you’re looking at closer to 4 weeks.
Included in this time frame is the time needed to clean up—once we’ve finished bringing your vision to life, we’ll clean everything up so you can start enjoying your new space once we’ve cleared out.
It’s the Final Walkthrough: 1 Day–2 Weeks
Now that the job is done, it’s time for a final walkthrough to make sure everything is 100% to your liking. In every final walkthrough, there is bound to be something that comes up. Whether it’s an easy fix (a paint touch-up) or something more complex (damaged parts, mistakes made, etc.), our work isn’t done until you are completely satisfied.
When all is said and done, a kitchen renovation can take anywhere from 4–10 weeks depending on the scale of the project.
